The Holistic Approach To Deal With Death Of A Love One.

A CANDLE FOR MOTHERIMG_2845“Sadly enough, the most painful goodbyes are the ones that are left unsaid and never explained.”  ~ Jonathan  Harnisch, Author

June 12th, 2018 on this day my birth mother passed away… Having received a text message informing me of her passing sent my entire being into a frenzy. It was a message no one wants to receive in regards to your loved one.

Time seems to stop right there and then… how does anyone respond to such a text message?  All senses in my body went into “naturism mode” telling myself to be mature…damn it, you just have to be strong!

Then it couldn’t be helped, but tears just started to roll down my cheeks. Gushing teardrops, unknowing that so much liquid was stored in my body and having the luxury of a box with sheets of tissue at hand ultimately made a difference.

The holistic approach to deal with the death of a loved one is to allow yourself to express your emotions.   During the days which follows your mind will feel as if you are actually spaced-out.

1. Allow yourself to grieve.
2. Remember it is essential for us to process the loss.
3. Communicate with all family members.

4. Meditate or pray

5. Light a candle and burn sage or incense

You will find yourself happy, then suddenly gushing tears. Why… those memories of your loved one saturate your brain. Then, your entire body seems to give into those memories again. Just allow your emotions to flow and feel free to know that we all spiritual beings.

“It is during our darkest moments that we must focus to see the light.” ~ Aristotle
